Liberal’s Clinkingbeard Appointed to Education Committee

Supreme Court appoints one, reappoints another to Municipal Court Clerks Education Committee

TOPEKA—The Kansas Supreme Court appointed Kim Clinkingbeard and reappointed Katie Marcum to three-year terms on the Municipal Court Clerks Education Committee.

Clinkingbeard is the director of municipal court for Liberal.

Marcum is the court clerk for South Hutchinson.

Both will serve through June 30, 2026.

The committee recommends and organizes education and training programs for municipal court clerks and reviews and updates the Municipal Court Clerks Manual.

Members include court clerks or administrators, a representative of the Office of Judicial Administration, and the president and past president of the Kansas Association for Court Management.
