On Saturday, February 15, five members of Liberal Wrestling Club traveled to compete
at the Goodland Kids Tournament. Numbers were down at the tournament as a whole due to
sickness and weather causing kids to wrestle up in age and weight for this tournament.
“Proud of all the kids and what they accomplished. A couple kids had to wrestle in higher
age groups/weight divisions but didn’t let that scare them from competing, definitely good
experience for them with districts and state around the corner,” Coach Adrian Salas said.
Results are as follows:
6U:
Alijah Salas, 2nd
Kendall Mosttler, 1st, 1 pin
8U:
Jason Fraire, 1st, 2 pins
12U:
Julian Gonzalez, 2nd
Jacobie Fraire, 3rd
Liberal Wrestling Club will travel to Hugoton on Saturday, February 22 to compete at the
H-Town Throwdown.
