Liberal Duo Drops Close Match at State

Liberal’s number one doubles team made their presence felt at the state tennis tournament at Emporia Friday. Duc Nguyen and Vince Nguyen lost to third seeded Salina Central (6-4, 0-6, 8-10). The LHS juniors then won a consolation match against a pair from Bishop Miege 9-3.
