The Liberal volleyball team played in the WAC Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.  Liberal was competitive against every team but still went 0-4 to finish last  in the conference.  Despite that fact, the Redskins seem to be playing some of their most competitive volleyball of the season.  Liberal lost to Dodge City 25-21, 14-25, 24-26.  Liberal lost to Garden City 16-25, 25-23, 13-25.  Liberal lost to WAC champion Great Bend 17-25, 27-25, 16-25.  The Redskins fell to Hays 24-26, 18-25.  Liberal is 5-22 and plays on the road in 6A sub state Saturday.
