Liberal City Commission To Meet

The Liberal City Commission is set to meet tonight for their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30pm in the City Commission Chambers. Among the items on the agenda in old business is an update from JCAPS, a Public Hearing on the condemnation of 3 S. Kansas, and the Depot parking lot. The City Commission will present an award to outgoing Commissioner Dave Harrison and then will swear in the new commissioners followed by the election of Mayor and Vice-Mayor. After a 15 minute recess, the new commission will come back into session and address Environmental Abatements, a Firefighters Grant Award, uniforms, hand held radio request from the Water Department, andn hear an update on the Public Art project. The meeting is open to the public.
