The LHS girls tennis team competed in the Wichita Haysville tennis tournament and finished in 2nd overall.

Individual placers include:

#1 Singles – Evelin Tarango  went  3-1 taking 2nd

#2 Singles – Isabella Rodriguez Diaz went 2-2 taking 3rd

#1 Doubles – Lynette Alonso and Giselle Mesta went 3-1 taking 2nd

#2 Doubles – Maliha Navarro and Yvanna Rivera went 3-1 taking 2nd

The girls played great today. They showed major improvement and the ability to finish tough matches. We were able to get some criteria wins for regionals and get an idea of what to expect.

The girls team will play in McPherson’s Doug Gayer Invitational on Tuesday  9/23.
