LHS Opens Boys Golf Season in Salina

Brock Kappelmann - April 4, 2023 6:44 am

The Liberal High School boys golf team opened their season in Salina on Monday.  Liberal shot a 382 to take 6th out of 9 teams.  Ryan Mein shot 88, Skylar Hubbard carded a 90, Landon Martinez shot a 99, and Joe Haskell finished with a 105.

Coach Nick Rotolo’s comments:

“Most of the rounds got away from use late in the day.  Long day and probably lost some focus on the greens.  Look forward to seeing where we improve as the year goes on.  Course was good for us for a first tournament.  Not overly challenging besides the greens.  Newton on the 13th will be a big test.”
