Sergio Borjas

The LHS girls tennis team competed in the Great Bend classic tennis tournament and finished in 6th with 29 points.

Individual placers include:

#1 Singles – Evelin Tarango  went 3-1 taking third

#2 Singles – Isabella Rodriguez Diaz went 0-4 taking eighth

#1 Doubles – Lynette Alonso and Giselle Mesta went 2-2 taking fourth

#2 Doubles – Maliha Navarro and Yvanna Rivera went 2-2 taking 7th.

The girls struggled to get the net game going and it cost us crucial points. We were able to get some conference opponent wins but hopefully we can get some more on Tuesday in Dodge.
