LHS Baseball and Softball Win

The Liberal High School baseball team beat Guymon 15-1 on Friday in 4 and 1/2 innings.
The Skins outhit the Tigers 12-3. Jose Pondo went 3-4 with two doubles. Austen Pitts was 3-3 with a walk, double, and two singles. Kyle Potts was 2-3, while Tyson Deaton went 2-4. Brandon Granger pitched two innings picking up the win.
Liberal is now 5-5 overall, and will host Dodge City on Tuesday.
The Liberal Lady Redskins softball team swept a doubleheader on Friday. The Lady Skins defeated Wichita Southeast 16-1 in game one, and 15-0 in game two.
The Lady Skins will next play on Tuesday at Garden City.
