LHS Announces Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences

KSCB News - March 11, 2010 12:00 am

Liberal High School officials have announced the schedules for the spring parent-teacher conferences to be held Thursday, March 25th, and Friday, March 26th. According to LHS principal Keith Adams, the Thursday session of the conferences will be held from 7:45 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. and 12:45 P.M. to 3:25 P.M. and again from 6:00 PM until 9:00 P.M. Friday morning conferences will be held from 7:45 AM until 11:15 AM. All conferences will be held in the teacher classrooms. Students will not attend classes either day.

According to LHS head counselor, Vivian Dirks, parents will be handed the grade report for the first nine-weeks when they enter. They will then be able to discuss those grades and the attendance records with individual teachers. We also encourage the parents to discuss their studen s pre-enrollment for the next year with the counselors.

The doors to the main (#1) entrance will be open on the southeast corner of the building. Parents are asked to enter those doors and proceed to the table where school personnel will be stationed handing out the grade reports. Then, they may proceed to the classrooms to meet with teachers. Counselors will be available in the commons and office to give any assistance necessary. All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend. Please call the high school at 620-604-1200 with any questions regarding the conferences.
