Lady Saints Stumble in El Dorado

Seward’s 10th ranked softball team went 2-3 at Butler’s tournament Saturday and Sunday in El Dorado. Sunday, Seward lost to Eastern Oklahoma 3-1 but defeated Maplewoods 11-0. Saturday, the Lady Saints dropped two against Crowder 4-2 and 9-7. Seward beat Rose State 7-3. Seward is 38-10 after the weekend. Seward can win the Jayhawk West with a good week. Seward is 8-2 and leading the Jayhawk West. They host Colby (24-16, 6-6) Wednesday at 3 PM and go to Butler (34-10, 5-3) Friday for a 2 PM double header.
