Liberal senior wide receiver James Fieser is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Fieser had 5 catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns in Liberal’s come from behind 28-21 win at Wichita South Friday night.  He had 2 catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns the week before in a 64-6 win over Wichita North.  He recently passed Jade Cathey for third in receiving yards in Redskin history and stands at 1,517 yards.  Fieser was a first team all WAC receiver last year with 33 catches for 783 yards and nine touchdowns.  Fieser was a first team all WAC basketball player last year.  He is involved in track and field, FCA, and NHS.  Fieser and the Redskins play at Guymon Friday night at 7pm on 1270 and 92.3.
