This Saturday, it’s the 19th Annual Hooker Car Show! $300 in cash given away every hour for car show participants and a chance for a lucky people’s choice car voter to win $500. All you have to do is vote on your favorite car!
Get your chance to win many more prizes from local merchants and compete in the poker walk around downtown Hooker. Plus a Ruger 22LR Bolt Action Rifle drawing and a custom golf cart giveaway benefitting Hooker High School athletics. Tickets are only $50 each and you do not have to be present to win.
Car show begins at 9am and ends at 4pm with an awards ceremony and then following the car show Sat evening, bring your lawn chairs and dancing shoes down to Broadway St. for a street dance with great live music from the Whiskey Red Band from Liberal, KS! The band will play from 8pm to Midnight.
AND, rumor has it that there will be a very special surprise guest performance during the band’s show you won’t want to miss!
In addition to the car show, it’s the all school reunion! It’s the first reunion in 10 years and the first time both events have been held together with many former graduates returning. Come join the fun and enjoy hundreds of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even military vehicles. Who knows who and what you’ll see?
