Granger Homers Twice in Sweep

Brandon Granger homered twice and Austen Pitts tripled twice in a double header sweep for Liberal’s Senior Babe Ruth baseball team. The Bulldogs beat Minneola 11-1 and 17-0. Victor Rivera added a triple. Tyson Deaton won game one on the mound before Brandon Stokes pitched two innings and Freddy Gomez pitched one inning. Travis Leverett pitched the second game. The Bulldogs are 4-0 and host the Hooker Horny Toads Monday evening at 6 p.m. Coach Eric Olmstead, Gomez, and Jose Pondo will be guests during the Sportsguys Monday morning on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
