Garden City Teens Arrested In Burglaries

Three Garden City teenagers have been arrested in connection with a series of automobile burglaries over a seven month period.

A 16 & 17 year old were arrested for 25 counts of auto theft, burglary and conspiracy, while another 17 year old faces 22 counts.

Garden City police said the crimes happened between April and November. Police said the suspects walked or rode bicycles looking for unlocked vehicles. Investigators said the suspects allegedly used backpacks to carry items they removed from the vehicles.

The estimated loss during the course of the burglaries is $4,000.00.
