KSCB News - October 16, 2014 1:45 pm

Four Liberal girls stood tall despite cold, wet, and windy conditions Monday. There were less than ideal conditions in Great Bend Monday when a 5A regional golf tournament was going on at Stoneridge. But a program record four girls qualified to state Monday for head coach Jessica Tercero. The previous high was two at LHS.

Senior Caileigh Alling led the way with a 122. Junior Sarah Rangel shot at 123 while sophomore Hannah Chacon and freshman Corey Mein carded 125’s. They will compete at the Salina Municpal Golf Course Monday for 5A state. Click on the audio icon to hear the interview which aired during the Thursday Sportsguys.
