Fatality Accident Currently Under Investigation

A fatality accident occurred Monday morning at approximately 10:19 am on US-64 at the intersection of Mile 53, approximately 7 miles east of Hooker, OK in Texas County.

The accident investigation is currently ongoing by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Involved in the accident was a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Francisco Vicente, age 55 of Liberal, KS. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hooker fire department at 10:35 am, and was transported to Henson-Novak Funeral home in Guymon, OK.

Passengers in the Chrysler included Maria Lux Pu, age 47 of Liberal, KS. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by Hooker fire department at 10:35 am and transported to Henson-Novak Funeral home in Guymon, OK.

A juvenile male, age 8 of Liberal, KS. He was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal,then transferred by Apollo to Wesley trauma Center in Wichita, where he was admitted for head and trunk internal injuries.

A second female juvenile, age 6 of Liberal, was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, then transferred by Apollo to Wesley trauma Center in Wichita, where she was admitted for trunk internal injuries.

A 4th passenger, Marco Chicaj, age 50 of Liberal, was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, then transferred by Apollo to Wesley trauma Center in Wichita, where he was admitted for head and trunk internal injuries.

A third juvenile, female, age 11 of Liberal, was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, then transferred by Apollo to Wesley trauma Center in Wichita, where he was admitted for trunk internal injuries.

A second vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by Ashton Harrison, 25 of Beaver, was also involved in the accident.

He was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical center in Liberal. He was later transferred to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, where he was admitted in stable condition for head and neck injuries.
