A fatality accident occurred early Friday morning at approximately 2:19 am approximately 5 miles west of Beaver, OK in Beaver County.

A 2007 GMC Sierra driven by Jacob E. Tyk 32, of Balko, OK was traveling west on Hollow E0140 when for unknown reason the vehicle departed the roadway to the south and impacted a tree. Tyk was pinned for approximately 4 hours before being freed by Beaver Fire Department utilizing the Hurst Tool.Tyk was pronounced dead at the scene by Medical Examiner Grant Wadley, due to head, arm, leg, internal and external trunk injuries
