On September 2, 2025, at approximately 3:21 PM, Liberal Police Officers and emergency personnel responded to a reported unknown injury accident at the intersection of 11th Street and N. Calvert Ave.

Through the investigation, officers determined that a Gray 2017 Toyota Rav 4 was traveling South on N. Calvert when a white 2011 Dodge Ram ran the stop sign and struck the Toyota.

No injuries were reported. The driver of the Dodge Ram was issued citations for running a stop sign, no driver’s license, and obstructed license plate.
