Liberal High School senior soccer player Diego Pavia is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Pavia scored three goals for a hat trick Thursday night as the Redskins won their home opener and WAC opener 7-0 over Great Bend.  Pavia also scored four goals Monday in an 8-0 win over Circle in Wichita.  Pavia also dished two assists in a 4-0 win at Wichita South on Wednesday night.  Diego was WAC champion in the 400 last spring in track and field.  Pavia and the Redskins play Wichita Heights Saturday at 1pm in the championship game of the Wichita South Titan Classic.
