Joe Denoyer - June 17, 2019 6:27 pm

A 1997 fixed wing single engine crop duster crashed Monday morning, but the pilot escaped injury.

The accident happened at approximately 11:41am at Road P and Road 4 in Seward County. The plane, being flown by Craig Stratton, 61, of Meade, was crop-dusting a field when the aircraft struck a windmill tower with the right wing of the plane. The aircraft impacted the ground and slid to a stop facing south.

Stratton was uninjured and was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
