Seward County Commission Tables Mask Mandate

Seward County Commissioners  met Tuesday morning at 8:00am with possible County Mandates on the agenda. In regards to a County wide mask mandate, the Commission voted to table the matter until their November 16th meeting as the want to hear from business owners and the public.

The Commission did approve Limited Access to County facilities, which also includes that all employees and those entering County Facilities must wear a mask.

The County Commission also instructed County Attorney Nathan Foreman to draft a Resolution that would limit gatherings anywhere in Seward County to 30 individuals. Once the Resolution is drawn up, the County Commissioners will again meet, discuss, and decide if they want to implement the gathering limitations.
