City Awarded Judgement Against Waterpark Experts

The City of Liberal has won a judgment against the company originally hired to build its new Adventure Bay Water Park.
Waterpark Experts Inc. was ordered to pay the city $402,000. The company was sued for breach of contract. The city originally asked for $2.2 million, but then lowered its request to $1.4 million to recover payments made plus court costs.
According to court documents, Waterpark Experts Inc. may not have the funds to pay back the city.
