Candidate Forums Continue

All 9 candidates in the Liberal city commission race met last night in the first of two forums hosted by the Liberal Chamber of Commerce and Talk Radio 1270. The forums were originally to be broadcast on KLKT-TV Channel 18, but do to a conflict, the management of the station backed out earlier in the day. The commission candidates will have another forum on March 23rd. Thursday night at 6:00pm at the Rock Island Depot, candidate for the USD 480 school board will have their forum. These next two forums will be broadcast live on Talk Radio 1270, and the public is invited to attend. Questions will be taken by e-mail at [email protected] and by phone at 620-624-3855, both prior to and during the forums. Question will also be allowed by the attending audience.
