Bones Found In Woodward County

KSCB News - October 7, 2010 12:00 am

The state Medical Examiner’s office is

examining remains found by teenage deer hunters near Fort Supply to

see if they are human.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown

says the teens were archery hunting in an area that includes fields

and cedar trees around dusk Tuesday when they discovered the bones.

The boys took photos of the bones with a cell phone and took the

pictures to law officers.

Brown says the Woodward County Sheriff’s Department reported the

find to the OSBI.
