Bee Jays Take Two from El Dorado

The Liberal Bee Jays swept a doubleheader at El Dorado on Sunday.

The Bee Jays won game one 7-1. Mike McBride pitched Liberal’s first complete game of the year. Aaron Mees and Sam Konnoff each added three run homers for the Bee Jays in the win.

Liberal then took game two 7-0. The Bee Jays scored four runs in the third, and three in the seventh. Joe Vaskas homered in the victory.

The Bee Jays improve to 29-12 overall, and 20-11 in the Jayhawk League. Liberal and El Dorado will conclude their series tonight at 7 p.m. The game will air on 1270 AM and right here on kscbnews.net.
