Beaver County Accident Injures Laverne Woman

An injury accident occurred on Monday, March 20th at approximately 6:10 pm seven miles south and three miles east of Elmwood, Oklahoma in Beaver county.

A 2007 Chevrolet pickup driven by Sarah Rae Hubbard, 35 of Laverne, OK. was westbound on County Road EW 34 and a 2004 Dodge pickup driven by Mark Lee Frazier, 64 of Follett, Texas was east bound on EW 34. Both units were driving in the middle of the roadway and when they met at the hillcrest, The Chevrolet swerved left and hit a fence post and a utility pole. The Dodge swerved right coming to rest in the ditch, hitting nothing.

Hubbard was pinned for approximately 45 minutes and was extricated by Beaver Fire Department and Elmwood Fire Department. She was Transported by Booker EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas and then flown to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. Admitted for leg injuries and listed in stable condition.

Frazier was uninjured.
