The #7 ranked Barton Cougars blanked the Seward County Saints 4-0 in the Jayhawk Conference opener Wednesday night at Redskin Field.  The Cougars led 2-0 at the half.  Barton stymied the Saints holding them to only two shots on goal while Barton unfurled nine shots on goal.  Barton is 3-1-1 overall and 1-0 in the Jayhawk.  Seward falls to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the KJCCC.  Seward hosts #4 Cowley Saturday at about 7:30 at Redskin Field.
