ATV Accident Sends One To A Wichita Hospital

An ATV accident Sunday afternoon sends the driver to a Wichita hospital. The accident occured Sunday afternoon at 12:45pm, approximately 10 miles north and 3 miles west of Sublette. Brodie Blackburn, 18, of Sublette, who was driving a 2004 Polaris ATV, was stopping to make a left turn, when a 1990 Yamaha ATV being driven by Garrrett Tatman, 16, also of Sublette failed to stop, and ran into the back of Blackburn’s ATV. Tatman was ejected from his ATV. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Blackburn was not injured. Neither driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
