Seward redshirt sophomore Ari Gordon has signed to play basketball at NCAA division 1 Oral Roberts.  The forward from Maple Grove, Minnesota signed with Todd Ciochetto’s staff and was a medical redshirt in 2022-23 before playing for coach Will Marchino the past two seasons.  She was a standout on defense for the Lady Saints but elevated her offensive numbers as well.  She averaged 10.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 2.2 apg, shooting 42% from the field her redshirt sophomore season at Seward County this season.  Gordon was named KJCCC (Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference) Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2024-25, ranking top 10 in the KJCCC in both steals and blocks while helping the Saints hold opponents to 53.1 points per game.  Gordon saw action in 29 games, starting in all 29 while averaging 8.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 1.8 apg, and 1.7 spg her redshirt freshman season, starting in 21 of her 32 games played for the Lady Saints.
