It was a tale of two halves Tuesday night at the Dog House in Hooker. Liberal was competitive in the first half trailing 32-28 before the Bulldogs ran away in the second half out pacing the Redskins 31-10 in the second half. Hooker throttled the Redskins 63-38.
Hooker led 17-15 after a competitive first quarter. Hooker led 24-15 before the Redskins rallied to make it 30-26 on an Alan Olvera three pointer. The Bulldogs led 32-28 at the half. But Hooker dominated the third quarter 19-6 and led 51-34 after three. Hooker out scored LHS 31-10 in the second half.
James Fieser was Black Hills Energy Player with 16 points.
Hooker is 16-5 overall and Liberal is 1-13. Hooker wins their sixth in a row against Liberal. LHS hosts Great Bend for homecoming Friday night at about 7:45 on1270 and 92.3.
