The Texhoma Red Devils led by 12 in a quarterfinal game at Talihina last year.  The Red Devils dropped that game 36-26 to end their season.  But the residue leftover from that November 22nd night is a determined 2025 team under second year head coach Garrett Harland.

Texhoma finished 8-4 last year and returns nine starters back on both sides of the ball.  There are 27 out for football at the Class A-2 school.   Five of those players are from Goodwell.

Some of the key players are: Jr. QB/DB Trighton Moore, Jr. RB/LB Eli Hernandez, Jr. RB/OLB Braylon Kimball, Jr. RB/OLB George Johnson, Sr. lineman Cade Collins, Sr. lineman Estevan Martinez, and Sr. lineman Aden Whatley.   Moore passed for over 1,400 yards as a sophomore.
