The Liberal Bee Jays blew out the Dodge City A’s in a non league game Thursday night at Cavalier Field in Dodge City.  The Jays won 18-4 in seven innings.  They have won 11 of the last 12 and 27 of the last 30 vs DC.

The Bee Jays started fast scoring eight in the first.  Dodge City scored three in the  first.  The B.J.’s scored five in the fourth, one in the sixth, and four in the seventh.  Liberal out-hit the A’s 16-4.

Drew Grego had another huge night going 3-4 with two home runs, four RBI’s, and four runs.   Matt Bernath, Carson Willis, and Jack Ryan added home runs.  Jack Ryan drove home four runs.  Matt Bernath, Landon Bruce, Justin Hudson, Carson Willis, and Drew Garcia had two hits a piece.  Leandro Tamaki pitched four shutout innings for the B.J.’s and Aden Bowman closed it out.

Liberal is 13-11 and plays at Derby Saturday night and Sunday night at 7pm.
