It was another game between teams with contrasting styles Wednesday night at the Power Plant in El Dorado. Seward is the lowest scoring team in the Jayhawk and wanted to play at a slower pace. Butler is the second hight scoring team in the KJCCC and wants to play fast. The Saints were able to slow the game down especially in the first half. Seward trailed 15-9 in the first half but controlled the tempo and trailed just 21-20 at the half. Seward led 25-22 early in the second half as they successfully took the Butler crowd out of the game. But the Grizzlies came out of hibernation with a 17-2 run to lead 39-27. The Saints answered with a 13-4 run to make it 43-40 Butler with 6:30 to play. Seward missed an open three pointer which would have cut the Grizzly lead to two with six seconds left.
Muhammed Jobe had 15 points and seven rebounds and was Epic Touch Player of the Game. Benni Kazadi had 13 points and nine rebounds. Loic Affouman had six points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
