Our local food banks are facing challenges to meet the increased needs from residents in our community. The City of Liberal is hosting a food drive drop off location at City Hall where everyone is welcome to bring non-perishable food items to support fellow residents. 🥫
If you are interested in donating, the City will be collecting today through December 18th. Items may be dropped off in the Administration lobby at City Hall.
Suggested non-perishable foods include:
▪️Canned fruits, vegetables, & meats
▪️Peanut butter
▪️Cereal & oatmeal
▪️Nuts, dried fruits, & dried beans
▪️Canned soup
▪️Rice & pasta
▪️Shelf-stable milk
▪️Boxed meals
▪️Packaged snacks & crackers
Please remember most food banks cannot distribute expired or opened food.
The City appreciates all donations provided. Every item counts.
