At this time last year, Beaver had nine out for football as they were hanging by a thread. They did not have a season in 2026 as some student athletes from Beaver scattered to other area schools. This year, Beaver has 12 out for football with hopes of adding more on the first day of school on Thursday. Jake Regier returns to the area. The Forgan native and former Balko-Forgan coach returns to Beaver County after coaching in Okeene.
Some of the key Dusters include, Sr. WR/S Isaac Guererro, Sr. TE/WR/DE Lucas Sessions, Sr. QB/DB Kaiden Kibel, and Sr. RB/WR/DE Dallas Frame.
Beaver was 1-9 two years ago. There is still tough sledding ahead for the Dusters who have four wins in the past ten years. Their last multi win season (4-6) was in 2015 under legendary coach Mike McVay.
The Dusters were featured during Sportsguys Thursday morning.
