The Liberal High School softball team traveled to Topeka’s Washburn Rural High School to play in their 6A regional Wednesday afternoon.  The Campus Colts prevailed over the Redskins 13-2 in five innings.  LHS had two hits.

Liberal scored one in the first before a seven run bottom of the first for the Colts.  Campus scored two in the second before LHS plated a third inning run to make it 9-2.  Campus scored four in the bottom of the fourth to make the scored 13-2.  Campus out-hit Liberal 14-2.  Both teams had two errors.  Haiden Lyon and Vivi Favila had Liberal’s two hits.

Campus is 15-12 and Liberal finishes 9-18.
