Coffeyville Clobbers Saints to Even Series

The Coffeyville Red Ravens routed the Seward County Saints 29-2 Friday afternoon at Brent Gould Field.  The best 2 out of 3 series is now tied 1-1 going into a decisive game three Saturday at 1pm.

The Ravens scored two in the first.  The Saints scored in the bottom of the first when Hayden Ramage hit a sac fly.  Coffeyville scored seven in the second, one in the third, one in the fifth, 16 in the sixth, and two in the seventh.  Seward scored a run in the sixth when Grant Cox doubled off the wall in left and Jacob Urias singled home a run.

Isai Santaella was Black Hills Energy Player of the Game going 2-3 with a double.  Grant Cox was also 2-3 with a double.  Sarvesh Dhanasekar pitched 1 and 1/3 and did not allow an earned run.

The Saints used six pitchers who walked 13 and hit five.  The Ravens out-hit the Saints 18-7.  SCCC had four errors.

Coffeyville is 27-29 and Seward is 24-36.  The same two teams play Saturday at 1pm at Brent Gould Field with pre-game at 12:45 on 1270 and 92.3 FM.
