The Liberal Redskins hosted the Dodge City Red Demons for Senior Night Tuesday afternoon and evening at the National Beef Sports Complex.  DCHS won 10-6 and 14-8.  LHS struggled defensively with four errors in each game.

In game one, Dodge City scored one in the second.  Liberal countered with a six run second on three hits and three Dodge errors.  Dodge City scored one in the third, two in the second, one in the fifth, two in the sixth, and three in the seventh.  DCHS out-hit LHS 10-6.  Evan Castillo drove home two runs in the loss.

In game two, the Demons scored five in the second.  LHS scored in the second.  The Demons put up three in the third for the 8-1 lead.  Liberal scored one in the third.  Both teams scored in the fourth.  Dodge scored three in the fifth and Liberal scored two to make it 12-6.  Both teams scored two in the seventh.  Both teams had 12 hits.  Liberal committed four errors and Dodge had three.  LHS pitching walked eight.

Dodge City is 9-10 overall and 5-6 in the WAC.  Liberal is 9-15 overall and 2-8 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Dodge City Tuesday night at about 6pm on 1270 and 92.3 FM.
