Liberal senior baseball player Blayden Betts is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Betts leads the Redskins batting .426 with two home runs, 13 RBI’s, five doubles, two triples, and 11 runs.  Betts has pitched 10 innings and has 12 strikeouts this season.  He was 5-7 against Cimarron on Friday.  Betts was also a 1st team all WAC linebacker and a state champion powerlifter.  He is also involved in FCA and NHS.  He was on the WAC Leadership team as a junior and played golf in past years.  Betts and the Redskins host Great Bend Tuesday at 4pm with pregame at 3:45 on 1270 and 92.3 FM.
