Shaky defense and continued struggles offensively led the Liberal Redskins to a 12-2 run rule loss at Woodward Thursday afternoon and evening at Fuller Park in Woodward.  The Boomers scored seven in the first, two in the second, and three in the third.  LHS plated two in the fifth.  The Boomers out-hit the Redskins 9-2.  LHS committed three errors and Woodward had two.  Woodward is 10-20.  Liberal is 4-8.  The same two teams play Friday at 4:30 at the National Beef Sports Complex in Liberal for Liberal’s home opener.
