The Liberal softball team traveled to Maize to play the Maize Eagles and McPherson Bullpups Tuesday afternoon.  Maize won the first game 11-0 in five innings.  Maize scored three in the first, seven in the second, and one in the third on the way to the win.  Maize out-hit LHS 13-3.  In game two, McPherson topped Liberal 15-0 in four innings.  The Bullpups out hit the Redskins 10-2.  Liberal had six errors.  McPherson scored five in the first, nine in the third, and one in the fourth.  Maize is 12-2.  McPherson is 10-4.  Liberal is 2-8 and hosts Hugoton Thursday at 4pm at the National Beef Sports Complex.
