The Liberal tennis team opened their season at Valley Center on Tuesday afternoon and night.  The Redskins got more than they bargained for out of the trip.  The tournament continued until 10pm Tuesday night when the lights turned off and the tournament did not finish.  There were no team placements because the tournament did not finish.

#1 Singles- Aron Duque had a strong start and got third place going 2-1.

#2 Singles-Diego Flores got 4th going 1-2.

#1 Doubles- J’Kobe Conteras and Easton Martinez go 1-2 with no finish to the bracket.

#2 Doubles- Edgar Galindo and Eli Harris 0-2 and no finish to the bracket.

The teams in the tournament were Valley Center, Garden City, Andover, Wichita Southeast, Wichita East, Newton, Goddard Eisenhower, Chapparral, and Liberal.

The Redskins go to Great Bend Saturday.
