Blayden Betts is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior power lifted Blayden Betts is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Betts won state at 220 pounds for the Iron Red Reds in 5A at Wichita Saturday.  Betts won the squat with a personal best lift of 565 pounds.  He won the bench with a PR of 300 pounds.  His dead lift was 500 pounds.  His best clean this season was 330 pounds.  Betts helped lead the Iron Reds to a 5A state championship on Saturday.  Betts was on the WAC Leadership Team as a junior.  He also participates in football, baseball, NHS, and FCA.
