Ayden Juarez Wins State Powerlifting

The LHS powerlifting team competed at 5A state Saturday at Pittsburg High School.

Ayden Juarez was the 5A M220 state champion. Beat the all-time state record by 20 pounds for highest total with 1245.

Marypher Lopez got on the podium with 3rd place overall in the W156.

Tyren Holmes was the Power weight runner-up state champ.

Hudson Rice and Ivan Moreno were one attempt away from the podium both finishing 4th overall in their weight classes

Jennifer Casas and Johnathan Young both finished 5th overall
