With a big and boisterous crowd looking on, the Seward Lady Saints did it. They made history with the program’s first ever postseason win 2-0 over Dodge City Saturday afternoon at Redskin Field. On a cloudy breezy day with temperatures in the mid 50’s, Seward scored both of their goals in the second half. Lise Bour lofted in a goal from near the 20 yard line on the right side curling into the upper right reaches of the north goal. That came at the 20:40 mark of the second half. With a swing of her left leg, Juliana Salazar gave Seward some cushion with a second goal from the middle. Dodge City finishes 5-8-5. Seward improves to 8-8-3. Seward plays at Cowley Wednesday.
