Opportunities Slip in Loss at Dodge City

The Liberal Redskin soccer team wrapped up their regular season Thursday night at Dodge City.  The Red Demons ran past the Redskins 5-0.  LHS was competitive for a majority of the first half and had a couple of clear opportunities.  The Skins broke down in the last 5-10 minutes.  After a PK by the Demons to go up 1-0, DCHS put in their second goal right before halftime to lead 2-0 at the half.  Dodge City wins the WAC with an 8-0 record and stands 14-1 overall.    Liberal falls to 5-8-1 overall and finishes 2-5-1 in the WAC.  Liberal will play in the postseason early next week.  Monday is the most likely day.
