The Hugoton Eagles put it together in 2025. They went 8-2 and won a playoff game. In 2026, the Eagles returns five starters on both sides of the ball and have about 50 out for football. Jay Witt is in his sixth season as head coach. The Eagles were 6-3 for three straight years before last year’s 8-2 season.
