18u Rattlers Return to the Field

After a one year hiatus, the Liberal Rattlers 18u returned to the diamond in 2023.  The Rattlers opened with a mid week double header at Demon Field in Dodge City against the A’s.  The Rattlers, made up of players from Liberal, Turpin, Hugoton, and Plains are coached by Cayde Ward and Matt Huffman.  The Rattlers won game one 7-0 and lost game two 5-4.  The Rattlers plays in the Oral Taylor Classic in El Dorado Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Liberal plays Topeka Friday at 3pm, Ottawa Saturday at 3pm, Iola Saturday at 5pm, with a single game on Sunday to determine the placing.

The 16u Rattlers beat Dodge City 9-0 at the National Beef Sports Complex.
