PANCAKE FLIPPING CONTEST
Division I Flipping (ages 7 & under)
Winner is the contestant with most flips in 2 minutes
1. Edgar Daniel Landa              age 5                        86 flips
2. Katie Classen                        age 6                        69 flips
3. Isabella Vasquez                    age 7                        60 flips
 
Division II Flipping (ages 8-13)
Winner is the contestant with most flips in 3 minutes
1.Victoria Rios               age 12                        302 flips
2. Victor Salazar            age 12                        245 flips
3. Alex Carrasco            age 11                        230 flips
 
Division III Flipping (ages 14 and up)
Winner is the contestant with most flips in 3 minutes
1.Garret Boyer                        adult                        321 flips
2.Daniel Fick                         adult                        311 flips
3. Tano Tovilla                       adult                        307 flips
 
 
PANCAKE EATING CONTEST
Division I Eating (ages 7 & under)
(Winner is the contestant who completely consumes one 5-inch pancake in the shortest amount of time)
1.Josef Pepa                        age 4             1:34        
2. Alexis Hernandez            age 5   1:41 (placed 3rd last year)             
3. Faith Linder                    age 6   1:50           
 
Division II Eating (ages 8-13)
(Winner is the contestant who completely consumes three 5-inch pancakes in the shortest amount of time)

2. Spencer Linder             age 8              1:48 (Spencer placed first in Div. I in 2009 and 2010)
3. Alaina Hernandez         age 10              1:49            
 
Division III Eating (ages 14 and up)
(Winner is the contestant who completely consumes five 5-inch pancakes in the shortest amount of time)
1.  Kelsey Childress             adult               54 seconds
2. Michael Maxwell             adult             1:05 (placed first in Div. III in 2009 and 2010)            
3. Garret Boyer                    adult            1:19            

 
PANCAKE COOKING/RECIPE CONTEST
(one age division, open to 12 and older)
1. Emile Darga            Goat Cheese Gallettes            
2. Mike Bailey                        Pancake Salad
3. Rhonda Hintegardt            Blueberry and White Chocolate Coffee Cake
 
Recipes will be posted on the Pancake Day website at www.pancakeday.net <http://www.pancakeday.net>
 
Judges were Janet Willimon, City Commission Candidate; Jeanie Adams, High Plains Pizza Hut; and Victoria Carlile, Ruffinos.
